As many of you know during the month of November I love to Give back to the Community that I am a part of. This year for my Birthday I am asking my friends and family to consider joining with me in contributing to My Happy Place a brand new non profit that I am proud to be part of as a new board member. November is the month of Thankfulness. Each year I pair with a non profit to bring awareness and raise funds to help make a difference. My Happy Place is dedicated to making a FUN, SAFE and THERAPEUTIC environment for children to heal and thrive. As a group we come into qualifying children’s homes and make-over their bedrooms. This can be as simple as them wanting new pink sheets or a television hung so they may cuddle while watching a movie. These children are sick, they send their days in doctors offices, having tests done, hearing words they don’t understand, watching their parents cry, and through it all they have a smile on their face.

The SMILE is a priceless gift that I have been fortunate enough to witness. For my Birthday this year I am looking to create some stock pile for rooms that we will create this year. It take a village worth of people to make dreams come true. I know that my friends and family will dig deep and help me make my vision a reality for those that did not ask for a diagnosis of a chronic or terminal illness.
