MEET KIMBERLY FOELL
In Sept. of 2021, Kim Fowell went in for her yearly mammogram. In October, she was brought in for an ultrasound and that is when her life changed. Kim was diagnosed with IDC Hers2+ breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy in Dec. 2021, started chemo in Feb. 2022 and will follow up with radiation.
Kim lives on a farm outside of Sheffield, IA with her husband, Mike. The Foell’s have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. My Happy Haven came in at a perfect time as the family was considering renovating a downstairs room into a bedroom, eliminating Kim from having to do the flight of stairs daily. Kim looks forward to relaxing in her new room, cuddling with her dog Daisy and putting this chapter of her life behind her.
